Five years ago, Porchfest was just an idea rooted in one simple belief: music has the power to turn strangers into neighbors.  And this year, you proved that louder than ever!

For one unforgettable day, magnificent porches became stages, sidewalks became dance floors, and together, we shattered every Porchfest record we’ve had yet with more than 1,000 neighbors moving through our streets, raising nearly $33,000!

​

Tiny but mighty doesn’t even begin to explain it.

​

Now what? We take all of that love and pour it right back into this neighborhood. If these past five years have proven anything, it’s that when neighbors show up for one another, really beautiful things happen. And trust us… some of our youngest neighbors are about to start getting a whole lot more connected.

so let’s give it up for the musicians who rocked with heart and soul, the generous homeowners who opened their porches, the volunteers who simply wanted to help make this day what it is, our sponsors for believing in this crazy vision, the food trucks who fed a whole lot of hungry neighbors (and already want back in next year), the local businesses who pour into this community every day and who we love helping neighbors discover, and every single neighbor who danced, porch-hopped, and sang like nobody was watching!
